Assisting elders with dementia in all its forms and stages, from moderate cognitive impairment to severe Alzheimer’s disease, is Aqua Home Care’s area of expertise (late-stage). All referred care providers have had training in Alzheimer’s and dementia and frequently work with patients who have cognitive disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, vascular dementia, Parkinson’s disease dementia, frontotemporal dementia, and other types.

We understand that each form of dementia and its effects can vary drastically from one person to the next; as well as the time, effort, and emotional toll that caregiving can take on a family. Our caregivers can provide needed relief and support to those who care for family members with dementia. If you act as a caregiver for a loved one, we can make caregiving more manageable and less overwhelming, giving you more time to self-care, work, and family obligations, or simply spending quality time with your loved one.

Your dedicated Area Manager will meet in-person to help determine what level of care and/or supervision may be required and refer a care provider capable of meeting their needs. Continuity of care is a major area of focus when assisting clients with dementia. Our team makes every effort to introduce care providers to ensure your loved one, as well as the care provider(s), are compatible and comfortable working together.
