Personal Care assistance is needed when individuals have difficulty with or are unable to perform daily tasks, commonly referred to as Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). These can include tasks such as bathing, meal preparation, and mobility. The aging process or an illness can make it difficult for seniors or adults with disabilities to perform certain basic activities and continue to live independently. Many find that they need help with some tasks and not others. The number of ADLs they need assistance with often changes over time. Aqua Home Care develops an individualized and affordable care plan for each individual and offers this personal level of support in daily life. Our goal is to help when you need it. We ensure that our caregivers are extensively trained in aiding your loved ones in these everyday tasks. All our caregivers are thoroughly screened, professional, reliable, and most importantly compassionate. Our long-term and temporary care services scheduling are very flexible to fit in with the individuals’ and family’s routines. We are available hourly or around the clock to assist with basic tasks at home. Our caregivers assist during the workday, in the evenings, and on weekends and holidays. This means family caregivers know their loved ones are always supported in continuing to live independently.
A dedicated Area Manager will meet with you or your loved one in the home or healthcare facility to assess needs and help determine the appropriate level of care. Flexible options are available to ensure care needs are met and adjustments can be made at any point as a client’s conditions change.
Yes, all care providers must pass a Level 2 Background Screening (requires fingerprinting). Aqua Home Care ensures care providers have met all state requirements prior to being registered and referred to clients. Once registered, they must maintain all credentials in order to remain active with the Nurse Registry.
Yes, we work with all Long Term Care Insurance companies. Aqua Home Care assists clients and family members throughout the entire Long Term Care (LTC) claims process. This includes checking policy benefits, submitting care logs, invoices and other required documentation to help expedite reimbursement for services.
Yes, Aqua Home Care is a Florida licensed Nurse Registry and is bonded and insured. Additionally, referred care providers carry individual professional liability policies and must meet all credentialing requirements set forth by the state.
